Grateful for Springtime and New Beginnings 🌷

There’s something truly uplifting about the arrival of spring. After months of gray skies and bundled layers, the sunshine feels brighter, the air feels lighter, and everything seems full of possibility again. Each year, this season reminds me to slow down, notice the beauty around me, and feel grateful for the moments—big and small—that make life richer.

This spring, my gratitude is overflowing, especially as I prepare to participate in two wonderful spring craft shows. Warmer weather and longer days make this time of year ideal for creativity, connection, and community. There’s nothing quite like setting up a booth as fresh air drifts in, flowers begin to bloom, and people are ready to get out, explore, and support local makers.

The first show takes place on Saturday, April 18th, at the Rutherford Area Swim Club, located at 4609 Marley Road, Fairfax, VA 22032, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event is a perfect way to spend a spring Saturday—browsing handmade goods, meeting local artists, and enjoying the energy of the season.

The following Saturday, April 25th, I’ll be at the Sterling Ruritan, 183 Ruritan Road, Sterling, VA 20164, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This show offers even more time to explore, connect, and discover unique handcrafted items you won’t find anywhere else.

Craft shows are about so much more than shopping. They’re opportunities to meet neighbors, share stories, and connect face-to-face in a meaningful way. I’m always inspired by the conversations that happen at these events—whether it’s someone finding a piece that feels just right for them or fellow vendors encouraging one another along the way.

Participating in two shows this spring feels especially exciting. Each brings its own personality and community, and I’m thankful for the chance to showcase my work, share new designs, and be part of such vibrant gatherings. Spring is a season of growth, and these events feel like a perfect reflection of that spirit.

If you’re looking for a joyful way to celebrate the season, I wholeheartedly encourage you to attend one (or both!) of these spring craft shows. Bring a friend, take your time browsing, and enjoy being out and about as winter fades into memory. Supporting local makers truly makes a difference, and your presence means more than you know.

Thank you for sharing in this season with me. I hope to see you soon—enjoying the sunshine, the creativity, and all the beauty spring has to offer.
